For this month we are finding out if Dolce & Gabbana – Dolce Violet Eau de Toilette for women is making its way into vanity or not. This floral fruity fragrance states top notes are cassis, cyclamen and mandarin orange; middle notes are violet, black currant and pear; base notes are musk, sandalwood and Madagascar vanilla.
We are someone who judge the book by its cover and thought that violet here would be dominant and sharp type of violet, but it is definitely not. They are some traces of violet, but not strong enough to name the scent with. If you are someone who likes the smell like a blueberry jelly candy, this is your perfume.
Smelling fruitier than violet, it’s not an overpowering scent. You spray it, it smells great and then it’s gone. It’ll probably just
smell and feel good for quite some time. With being a feeble scent, this is a mature scent with cassis violet and vanilla. Scent having a pretty smoky and mature smell, as it’s little grapey and warm.
Another negative to note here–spraying it, feels exactly like an older woman scent and can be a straight pass for young buyer, but that is up to you to decide. We’ve done our duty and primed you.
