Culinary treats

This winter, the Badrutt’s Palace Hotel in St. Moritz has brought its pop-up restaurant to the next level, the IGNIV by Andreas Caminada. This is the second time that the 3-michelin star, Swiss chef Andreas Caminada will be implementing his “fine dining sharing experience” concept.

The chic, new alpine Chalet Italia, situated in the park, in front of the Kempinski Grand Hotel des Bains, invites guests to spend a few convivial hours together over a fondue and mulled wine. The Hotel Laudinella offers guests a range of original Italian dishes and live music in its après-ski hut, the rustic-style Grottino. And in front of the new iLounge St. Moritz is a brand new Tree Trunk Bar, offering a variety of drinks and cheese based dishes, which is the foundation of alpine cuisine, such as raclette.

The Engadin St. Moritz Tourism Organisation

A most spectacular location, the mountains, the air, the brilliance of snow and ice hit by the winter sun, and the frozen lake make the Engadin Saint Moritz region a true winter wonderland. Facilities for most winter sports are in place here with a large number of leisure activities made possible as well. Not to mention the fact that the display of ski talent this winter will be off the charts. This little haven has everything to offer from gourmet cuisine to world class music acts and so on.

Of course the unique and special charm of this region is its combination of Saint Moritz, a most scintillating mountain resort and the breathtaking Alpine Valley of the Engadin. The massive undertaking of marketing for this region and specifically the winter season/festival comes under the purview of the Engadin St. Moritz Tourism Organisation which has a staff of merely 60 people. A thanks to them for this spectacularly anticipated winter season.
