This masterpiece of a bag designed by Pierpaolo Piccioli, the creative director of Valentino Garavani is actually inspired by Valentino’s haute couture dress named ‘Fiesta’ from 1959 builded with handcrafted silk roses. This Atelier 03 Rose Edition bag has all the essentials that define the brand’s identity, 01 studs, 02 bows, 03 Rose, 04 Rouches. Etched with three-dimensional roses that are created with hand-moulded leather petals of different sizes, individually sewn onto each bag. Embroidered with a total of 90 leather petals on a shiny nappa leather base, this feat of exquisite craftsmanship takes approximately 10.5 hours to construct and is available in mini, small and tote sizes, as well as a various colourways: nero (black), cerise(cherry), ivory, rosso(red) and rose canelle(cinnamon pink). The leather used in the making of the bag is itself a careful choice: goat skin. It is very strong and hard wearing which gives it a great quality to get converted into a leather bag. It is believed by the manufacturers that the goat skin leather is much thinner than cow hide and so it is very light weight, soft and flexible. Along with this quality the look and feel of these goatskin leather bags are something which is making it so much attractive amongst the customers.
