In today’s special menu of our world of cocktails, we will guide you towards a new way of enjoying your cocktail. We know you guys might be thinking about what is new about having a cocktail, but there certainly is a new way. Something off the regular menu that will make your taste of cocktails much better. Yes, you heard it right, this time we bring to you St. Germain Champagne Cocktail. Whatever way you serve, it’s going to be the perfect cocktail for wedding celebrations. You don't need an occasion to drink it, though! Mix one up whenever you want a sweet and delicious cocktail.

Although Mimosas and Bloody Marys are popular wedding drinks, but the St. Germain Champagne drink can also be an excellent choice. The sweet, flowery, and extremely distinctive flavor of St. Germain elderflower liqueur works nicely with a dry sparkling wine, creating a less fruity mimosa that is a refreshing change of pace. This drink goes well with both sweet and savory dishes, making it an excellent cocktail to offer for brunch. It's effervescent, invigorating, and topped with a fizzy pour of sparkling wine like prosecco or champagne. Whether you're celebrating your big day or simply looking for a fun and festive cocktail to enjoy with friends, St. Germain Champagne Cocktail is a perfect choice.

INGREDIENTS

• 2 oz. St. Germain liqueur

Whatever way you serve in the wedding cocktails; it’s going to be perfect for wedding celebrations. You don't need an occasion to drink it, though!

• 14 oz. dry Champagne or sparkling wine to taste

FOR GARNISHING (OPTIONAL)

• lemon peels

• strawberries

• peach slices

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Combine all the ingredients and keep them ready.

2. Pour 1/2 ounce St. Germain liqueur into each Champagne glass.

3. Pour dry Champagne or sparkling wine into the glasses, about 3 1/2 ounces each glass, to taste.

4. Garnish each glass with a lemon twist, fresh strawberries, and/or peach slices, if preferred.

TIPS:

• Since elderflower liqueur is sweet, a glass of dry sparkling wine is required to create a balanced cocktail. Look for the words "Brut" or "dry" on the label, and stay away from ones that state "sec."

• Chill the bottle of sparkling wine before pouring for a cooler, more refreshing cocktail, or add an ice cube to each glass.

• To slip the fruit onto the glass rim, cut a small incision in whole or sliced strawberries and peach slices.

• When peaches are chopped and exposed to oxygen, they turn brown. Squeezing a little lemon juice over the flesh delays the reaction and keeps your garnish looking nice.

To make the lemon twist, take a long strip of lemon peel and twist it into a spiral shape. This will release the lemon oils and add a bright, citrus aroma to the cocktail.
