THE HYDRATING COCKTAIL

Derived from the original drink of ‘Sex on the Beach’ the driveway is a variation of the original drink replacing the orange juice and cranberry juice with blue curacao & sprite. The recipe was first believed to be invented by a bartender in Confetti’s Bar in Florida. The bartender then distinguished the main purpose of tourist exploring the place and its beauty and therefore decided that sex and beaches are more popular than anything else and that’s how the name was born in 1987. Although a lot of historians also believe that the recipe was found back in 1982 in a recipe book earlier. And soon it was picked up by the popular chain of since the old times TGI Friday’s which gave a lot of popularity to this drink.

Above all its history and existence this drink has a wrong notion of being a girly drink, but it isn’t. This is sweet recipe but not girly and therefore everyone can enjoy it. The flavors of lemon lime can make it less sweet if you like your drink that way. Overall, it’s a delicious drink and can be even tried with orange and peach if you want just like the OG! This drink is not something that will knock you down but is a long hydrating drink with relative dilute affect of alcohol as you complete your drink. It’s the best if you want to keep yourself hydrated this pandemic era and work while having a sip of your favourite alcoholic drink.
