Italian, French, Mexican or even Chinese…. wine is something we can have with any cuisine and for any occasion. This month we take you to our wine tasting session and this time it is the 1992 Screaming Eagle Cabernet Sauvignon. You might ask yourself what’s so special about this one. Besides its price which is around $500,000, the wine has the aroma of jammy blackcurrants from which it gets its opaque purple colour and subtle toasty oak. The impressive drink offers layers of great purity, a proportionate blend of ripe fruits and an inner core of sweet, creamy and carefully extracted juice of blackcurrant/cassis. So, if you really want the bottle, you need to get on a mailing list to enjoy a fine glass of this young exotic wine.
