A designer heirloom Forevermark, the diamond brand from The De Beers Group of Companies unveiled its collaboration with designer Manish Malhotra, over an exclusive soirée hosted at The Imperial, New Delhi. The chandelier earrings designed by Manish Malhotra, under the expertise of Anmol Jewellers, are a part of the Forevermark Promise campaign, and echo the brand’s promise of beauty, rarity and responsible sourcing. Manish drew his inspiration for these timeless earrings from the vintage opulence of the well-travelled aristocracy of the 1930s and 1940s. He took it a notch up by combining his refined reinterpretation of the glorious era known for its glittering extravagances, with the modern sensibilities of Forevermark. Crafted with brilliant Forevermark teardrop diamonds, the exquisite pair exude a majestic old-world charm and make for a delightful eternal addition to any modern bride’s jewellery box. The piece took two months to come to fruition, and features 56 spectacular diamonds, set in 18k rose gold with a combined carat weight of 10.43 carats. A total of 2518 diamonds weighing 49.02 carats were set in 91.03 grams of 18k rose gold. “As an Indian designer it’s my prerogative to explore our culture and heritage and promote the rich traditions of art and design in our country.
