Haute Stuff Only!
Let’s Shift Focus From Main Stream Fashion to Some Fancy Haute Couture. Well, Two Months Into 2024 – Spring/Summer 2024 Runway Has Been Our Favourite So Far!

When it’s mid-January we know, the couture carnival is going to make its triumphant return. The haute couture extravaganza has returned in full swing, pulling in all the VIPs to Paris for the eagerly awaited spectacle of Spring/Summer 2024 collections. Describing the runway where they flaunted their creations as anything less than a dazzling spark-fest for our eyes would be selling it short.
This year's spectacle was like the cool cousin of last year's shindig – bigger, better, and doused in a hefty dose of experimentation. It's like the runway turned into a mad scientist's lab, and some brands went all-in with their genius experiments. Celebs and their fancy attire? Yeah, that's interesting, but hold on, let's dive into the juicy stuff – the haute couture's show-stealers. We've cherry-picked four posh brands with collections so stunning they've swiped right on our hearts for this year!

Schiaparelli

They're rocking the future vibes, and no, we're not discussing Artificial Intelligence, but rather Robo Babies strutting their stuff on the catwalk. Bravo, Schiaparelli! The VIP section was as dazzling as the model's walk – featuring keyhole patterns, body-inspired shapes, and celestial nods to Elsa's legacy. Yet, amidst the artistic twists, there were unexpectedly cool nods to Roseberry's Texan roots waiting to be showcased. Models were nestled in architectural pods and adorned with billowing skirts, like fashionable cocoons ready to take flight - the inspiration being Roseberry's love for curves.

Valentino

Guess who stole the limelight at practically every show? None other than Kylie Jenner, dazzles and rocks those ensembles like a fashion maestro. Now, let's talk Valentino – the collection was playfully named "Le Salon," and it was a chromatic explosion! Imagine every hue of the rainbow dancing through the couture prism he conjured up. Turquoise drapes that slinked, capes in the rosiest red, blazers dripping in topaz, shirts shouting saffron, and a mix of glitter tops and tinsel skirts. Oh, and don't forget those black puffy rosebud coats and silver sequin tops!
Miss Sohee

It's our debut coverage of this fancy-schmancy fashion house for haute couture, and their threads are turning heads this time around. We're talking audacious thigh-high slits, curves-hugging gowns, corsets you can practically see through, and dresses flaunting their open-back glory, stealing the limelight this season. But wait, there's more! Feast your eyes on intricately embroidered taffeta dresses, skirts that billow like a dramatic breeze, and florals. And as if that's not enough pizzazz, handbags, and fans joined the party, born from a sweet collaboration with South Korean artisans who wield Hansan Mosi, a hip slow-weaving technique crafted from locally sourced hemp. Talk about weaving some magic into the fashion scene!
