Representing fashion has never been easy – it can be hindered by the slightest inconvenience. Placement, presentation, and artistry are the three main elements that dig out the appeal of fashion. Representing this industry is one of the oldest yet most important fashion shows of all time which took place recently – Paris Haute Couture 2022/2023. Starting as early as 1858, Paris Haute Couture has managed to deploy some of the longest-lasting fashion trends. Let’s see some of the fashion moguls trending when Paris is all around the world!

Chanel

Started by the popular fashion enthusiast and designer Coco Chanel – as a fashion conglomerate, Chanel has done wonders. From everything marking its way in the realm of luxury, Chanel deals in luxury accessories, and ready-to-wear fashion.

In this Haute couture, we saw an extensive collection from the brand which proposed some flamboyant and chic designs that stood out the most. Chanel presented its 2022/2023 Fall/Winter collection which made everybody’s head turn towards them. Although it followed a minimalistic approach – the models surely looked beautiful from head to toe.

Schiaparelli

A brand with a story that is capable of bagging a Hollywood script. Founded by Elsa Schiaparelli in 1927, if this fashion brand would have been up and running for these 95 years, it would have created history. But it got shut down in 1957 and then got revived in 2007 by Tod’s.

Schiaparelli was also seen when Paris Haute Couture took place in January and it’s back again. Talking about the collection, they displayed their 2022-2023 Fall/Winter collection this time and in most of the apparel, you’ll find one thing in common – hats; lots of hats. There is also this theme of glam where everything shines and glitters in chic colours.

Iris Van Herpen

2007 was the year when Iris Van Herpen thought of owning her eponymous fashion label through which she can tell the world her own story. Being a Dutch fashion designer – Iris tries to portray her thought process through her designs.

The collection was also based on Iris Van Herpen’s Haute Couture 2022-2023 Fall/Winter Collection and trust us, this was something rarely seen. You might call this collection ‘Darkly Futuristic’ but what it shows is all edgy and cutting design. With all the arithmetic – this collection would be seen as ergonomically perfect.
