You all must be aware of the term “Aerobics”. It is the physical form of exercise which focuses on enhancing all the elements of fitness rather than focusing on one, including – cardiovascular fitness, strength, agility, and flexibility.

This takes us to our next question, what is the limit? The actual answer might be embedded within you only. For finding this answer yourself, Read On.

Fitness Begins Under Water

First, let’s understand the logic behind this mechanism. According to some scientific studies, when you do indulge in aerobics underwater – you are putting less strain on your joints and the force in the water is helping you in being mobile.

It also builds strength as for even lifting a hand in the water, you have to go against the force of water and make your way. Lastly, it also is good for cardiovascular strength as water helps move blood around the body and allows a very vast range of motion.

Walking Helps Here

Walking is considered to be one of the primal sources of our existence. Gen-Z might have the upper hand of technology moving everyone faster – but back then, when no automobile rubbed against the wavy roads – it was our feet which helped us move across places.

Walking underwater is like adding the cherry on top. You might not even feel like you are walking because of less gravity – but trust us, you are doing even better. Keep your back straight and follow a walking pattern where your heel is touching the ground first and then you’re your toes.

Don’t let those arms rest as they also play a pivotal role in making your body mobile and flexible. And just an additional tip – act like you are facing a bear; become tall and wide as if someone has griped your spine. Do this at least for 10-12 minutes for consistent and better results.

Got to Train The Core

Fitness Begins Under Water

While we are talking about exercises and muscle growth, your core is like the mini brain of your

body. Without a strong core – you do not look in shape. Core muscles are nothing but a group of muscles generally found in the trunk and hip region.

As you are underwater, training your core will be a little bit difficult because sudden actions might be a better fit for them. But by no means you cannot build a strong core underwater. This exercise is called Back wall glide and needs some piece determination to continue.

The pool ledge should be your main point of focus. Bring your knees close to your chest and launch them into the wall, as your body pushes itself off some distance – you need to float for some distance. The last step would be again taking the help of the pool’s ledge and pressing your feet towards the bottom. You can easily continue with this exercise for 7-12 minutes.

How Can You Forget The Ceps?

Strength converts into action when your arms are ready for it. Whether it is about lifting heavy or it is about hitting that punching bag hard – arm strength provides a vital part of our exercise. If you can’t live anything at all – the growth will be stagnant.

Doing underwear makes many things easier like not being that prone to injuries and also increasing mobility. The exercise we are going to talk about is called Water Arm Lifts and it is just like you do in your gym – but more effective.

You have to dip your body into the water with only the area above the shoulder exposed. You need a pair of dumbbells for this; choose the weights according to how much you can lift. Hold them facing your palms, and keep your elbows tight to your torso. Live the dumbbells to the water level and vice versa. Recommended sets are 3 and repetitions are 12 – you can also customise it as per your

requirement.
