Her close relationship with her grandmother was her greatest influence as she exposed her to a lot of antique, ancestral jewels and heirlooms at a young age. “These rare and special pieces enraptured me and I always wanted to be involved in an artistic pursuit, to create beauty out of the ordinary,” says Anjali.

She joined the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) and realised her dream. Anjali believes that every piece of precious jewellery is an investment. “When purchasing pieces, whether big or small, one should always consider the wearability and longevity of the design,” she advises. “In my opinion, diamonds are a commodity that appreciate in value and make for great investments.”
