Ingredients
- 50g desiccated coconut
- 1 cup salted butter
- 2 and 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 100 g walnuts/nuts chopped (optional)
- 50 g dark chocolate chips
- Melted milk chocolate & white chocolate
Recipe –
Preheat the oven to 180 ° C and lay parchment paper on a 30cm x 20cm (12in x 8in) baking dish.
A basic rule of baking is that, in general, it's almost impossible to make an inedible batch of brownies and we have always believed that brownies a day keeps the frownies away.
Melt butter, sugar, and cocoa together in a pot over medium heat, and keep stirring for about 5 minutes.
Pour the mixture into a bowl and allow it to cool for 5-10 minutes.
Now, beat in eggs into the bowl, one at a time, and mix well after each addition.
While stirring add in flour, baking powder & desiccated coconut and mix well.
Add the left walnuts and dark chocolate chips into the batter and transfer the same into the preparing dish.
Place the dish in the oven and allow to bake for 25-30 minutes or until the edges are set and the center is still squidgy and a little soft.
You can check by inserting a knife, if done remove it from the oven, and allow it to cool for 10-15 minutes.
Transfer into a fancy tray and drizzle the melted chocolate all over (so satisfying)
Slice and serve.
