Marcel, it is a pleasure for us to have you in this edition. We would like to know more about your work and the projects you are cultivating for 2024. How did your education shape your path as a budding entrepreneur?
I firmly believe that education forms the fundamental basis of your brand. Whatever direction you want to take in your life, in my case, studying has become a pleasurable habit that allows me to explore and articulate new ideas. Ultimately, these experiences become a valuable complement to my career. I have participated in classes ranging from financial advice to art, history, and languages, enabling me to approach my career with coherence and breadth. I am currently excited about the projects coming in 2024, and eager to take on new challenges and establish myself as a businessman.
What are the core values that guide your approach to business and artistic projects?
I believe that respect, transparency, and the value you give to your project are crucial elements for others to perceive it meaningfully. In my case, I approach each of my projects with passion, conveying a positive message and seeking to express art in all the practices I undertake as an artist.
As a model, artist, photographer, and entrepreneur, how have you managed to balance and merge these creative facets in your work?
It is extremely challenging, as sometimes it seems there is no time for everything. It is necessary to pay attention to each of your responsibilities to not neglect any of them. Despite this, I would love to have longer days to dedicate more time to areas I may not pay much attention to right now due to lack of time. Nevertheless, the most rewarding aspect has been finding balance by combining each of my talents and making them work together to achieve a final result. Now, a businessman seeking profitability joins this amalgamation of the art we have executed.
Could you share some of your most notable projects so far and how you plan to expand your presence in those fields in 2024?
I have learned not to make too many plans and simply allow the universe to work in my favor. For 2024, many exciting things are on the horizon. We will start the next year on the right foot, executing projects in Venezuela, Mexico, and the United States. These will include a documentary, campaigns, and store opening to offer for sale all the art we have prepared to share with you.
As someone with such diverse skills, how do you approach long-term planning for your projects in the coming years?
Well, when you plan, you execute. I have planned everything in my life since I was a child, but I am not alone; I have a wonderful team that accompanies me in this process, making this journey easier. Starting with my assistant, Paola Lozano, who has become my right hand. I also have the support of some family and friends who have decided to join and work on my projects. Having so much support from people who have seen me grow from the bottom motivates me immensely.
How do you see the role of technology in the evolution of your work, especially in your creative and business processes?
I think I am a child of the future because I am always looking to work with technological processes that allow us to offer a different and futuristic aesthetic. In my case, I have used technology as a tool to express my art, and it has been a wonderful experience.
How would you describe the role of love in your life and your pursuit of success, especially concerning what you do, who you are, and what you aspire to offer to the world?
Love is what makes me feel alive, the love for what I do, for who I am, and for what I want to offer to the world. So many things in my life have changed since I feel so much love in my heart; it has been the key to getting closer to success.
How do you think we could foster humility, respect, and intelligence in dialogue, especially in a global context marked by conflicts and suffering? And what would be your proposal to promote values and awareness education, with an emphasis on cultivating belief in love rather than hatred?
I feel that people should have the humility to learn from others, to respect others, and to be intelligent enough to discuss maturely with others, without wars, without tricks, without suffering, and without resentment. Currently, we live in a world war, with people killing each other, and it’s only pain. My invitation is to education, to read more about values and awareness, to believe in love and not in hatred.
