1. Hello Isabella! We would like to extend you a warm welcome to L’Officiel India. First of all, congratulations on becoming Miss Grand International 2022, how were you feeling wearing the crown on your head?
Thank you so much for the warm welcome! Wearing the crown as Miss Grand International 2022 was an indescribable feeling of joy and fulfilment. It was like a dream come true, not just for me but also for my family, as beauty pageants have been a part of our heritage for generations. My grandmother and my mother were beauty queens, so this achievement held an even deeper meaning for me.
Apart from all the glam, the part I love the most is the human connectivity that this job offers. It is a great honour to have this platform as an opportunity to be a voice for so many people and fight for different advocacies worldwide, including my personal one, which is to help people with disabilities. This cause is close to my heart because of my grandfather, who was tetraplegic. Seeing his strength and positive attitude despite his challenges truly touched and inspired me, shaping my mindset and life’s journey.
2. Tell us what inspired you to enter the modelling industry.
From a young age, I received constant encouragement from those around me who believed I had the potential to be a model. Combined with my own passion for fashion, beauty, and self-expression, I was inspired to explore the world of modelling. It felt like the perfect avenue to embrace my natural talents and unleash the creative possibilities within the industry. I began my international career at the age of 14 years. Before that, I can vividly remember cutting out portraits of models from magazines and adorning my wall with them; it was a clear sign of my passion for this industry.
3. You’ve come a long way in your career. How has your journey been so far?
My journey has been incredible, filled with hard work, perseverance, and unforgettable experiences that have shaped me into the person I am today. Alongside modelling and beauty pageants, I dedicated myself to my studies in finance and worked in the area. Despite facing the challenges of gender inequality, I managed to enter one of the top 10 best universities in the world. I achieved the highest grades and found a job in a company awarded the best financial planning company in 2021 by TheWealthNet. I am proud of this part of my journey as it inspires other women to fearlessly pursue their goals in any field they choose.
4. Your fashion statement is adorned by many. What or who has been your inspiration to come up with such spectacular looks?
I draw inspiration from various sources, including iconic fashion figures and the latest trends from designers. I love experimenting with different styles to create unique and spectacular looks. I like to think of myself as a chameleon when it comes to my looks, always surprising my audience with something new while staying true to my essence. Because when you stay true to your essence, you are always confident to show your look, and people can feel that, and that’s what makes the look resonate. Elegant and classy styles have always resonated with me.
5. If not modelling, what else would you be doing right now?
Apart from modelling and the entertainment industry, makeup is another passion of mine. Doing my own makeup for most of my events as a beauty queen is a therapeutic experience for me. I enjoy exploring new colours, textures, and techniques. With my experience in different makeup styles, especially glam looks for beauty pageants, I have received great positive feedback about my makeup and I look forward to sharing my knowledge with everyone in the near future.

6. How would you describe yourself in one sentence?
I am a determined and positive individual, constantly pushing boundaries to grow and achieve my goals, and always willing to make a positive impact through my work.
7. Time to spill some secrets. Tell us something about your future plans.
I am excited to share everything I have learned about makeup over the years, so I will soon be launching my own makeup line. It will incorporate techniques primarily used in beauty pageants which can also be applied in day-to-day life. Additionally, I have plans to further expand my presence in the entertainment industry, such as acting; another big dream of mine. I also plan to explore new opportunities and continue using my platform to advocate for important causes that hold a special place in my heart.
8. Last but definitely not least, what words of wisdom would you want to impart to our beloved readers?
My advice to beloved readers is to always believe in yourself, relentlessly pursue your dreams, and embrace your unique qualities without fear. Cultivate gratitude and maintain a positive mindset throughout your day, as it can truly change the trajectory of your life. Remember, true beauty comes from within, and when you believe in yourself, there’s nothing you cannot achieve.
