All Things Famous
FOMO is a no-no; therefore, you have to absolutely not miss on these ‘famous in Barbados’ things. Let’s start with food, 2 national dishes of Barbados are Flying fish and cou cou, a polenta-like mixture of cornmeal and okra. You can find these in many famous restaurants. Trust us, these melt in your mouth and taste delicious. Now you need a drink too, a refreshing glass of mauby or Mount Gay rum would be a great option. If you are a history geek, visit St. James Parish Church, the oldest parcel of consecrated land on the island. Next up is the beach, fun & relaxing at the same time. With so many beaches on this dreamy island, one that we find the most amusing is Cattlewash beach. Mainly for one reason, you get to experience healing rituals on this beach, and it is said to cure many ailments.
