Mount Popa

A mountain known to be the home to a stunning monastery is also one of the favourite tourist spots. You can also spot numerous monkeys in the vicinity. It does require a bit of elevated walking, but in the end, it is worth your effort. Interestingly, Mount Popa is a dormant volcano that stretches to around 1518 meters above sea level. This mountain can also be spotted from the Ayeyarwady River in clear weather and serves some heart-warming sceneries from the top.

Inle Lake

If you want to get into the spirit of adventure during your trip to Myanmar, another must-visit destination is Inle Lake. Trekking here is the most prominent tourist activity.
