We are talking about the 19th century magnificent 11 natural pearl and diamonds tiara cum necklace belonging to the House of Savoy, a royal family of Italy. It is believed that this tiara has a rich legacy as it was presented to Maria Vittoria dal Pozzo in 1867 as a wedding present on the occasion of her marriage to Amedeo of Savoy. This tiara has belonged not just to Maria Vittoria but also to the Duchess of Aosta and Queen of Spain so one can imagine how it’s a prized possession. It is reportedly believed that this tiara was crafted by one of the oldest goldsmiths in Europe, Musy Padre e Figli who was the court jeweller of Turin.

If the rich history has already got you interested in this big deal, then let us tell you the ethereal specifics of this tiara. Made with scroll motifs with cushion-shaped, single cut diamonds, this jewel is as much tiara as it is a necklace to our wonderment! The scroll motifs are detachable and due to this the jewellery piece can be either a beguiling fit for your collar bones as a heavily embellished necklace or can sit on your head as a tiara. The 11 pearls in the jewellery piece are the highlight that give it an alluring touch and grabs our attention, instantly making us deem it as a royal possession. The tiara was sold in May 2021 at a whopping price at an auction under jewellery specialist and auctioneer Benoit Repellin.
