Coming straight off the lap of French luxury fashion house Cerruti 1881 was founded in 1967 in France. The association of this brand with luxury class and plush fashion apparel have been the talk of the town for decades now. Especially, there are known for their detailed work and practicality but the perfume speaks differently.

Cerruti 1881 Eau d'Ete is a perfume which was discovered back in 2003 and talking about some of its specifications, the Top notes are Pink Hyacinth and Cyclamen; the middle notes are Red Peony, Jasmine and Plum; the base notes are Sandalwood and White Amber. And as for the nose behind its making, it debuted in the world of perfumery with the help of Perfumer Beatrice Piquet.

Everything about the perfume is soft including the packaging and the scent itself but where it lacks is the department of performance – it is one of the worst-performing perfumes out there. Many users have complained it to not even last a good 2-hour mark. Forget wearing this disastrous perfume in winter because 30 minutes is all it will last. As if the performance was not enough, enters the aspect of floral.

Cerruti claims this to be “floral” but it’s too heavy to be called floral because of the dense synthetic aromas that it possesses. All in all, in the month of winter, don’t even think of buying it and talking about summer, we have so much better options than this one.
