It’s All In Stars says Zuhair Murad this season

The haute couture calendar scheduled four Lebanese brands this year, and one that topped the headlines after unveiling its collection is Zuhair Murad. Days after the release of the collection, celebrity Becky G was spotted wearing one of the pieces to the MTV VMAs. The piece she picked stole the show and became the most talked about. The sultry gown was for when you are attracting love, fortune, and game, it looked stunning. Speaking of the collection, the artistry demonstrated was all about the mystical arts such as Tarot, astrology, horoscopes, and palmistry. Zodiac signs starred in most gowns with crystal-studded applique. The fashion label presented the collection in ten colorful chapters. The collection included dazzling floor-grazing gowns, short dresses, bodysuits, jackets, ball gowns, jumpsuits, and more in appealing high slits and sublime beadwork and craftsmanship. Although we feel, it’s an underrated collection that deserves a lot more hype!

A Gentle Reminder, Jean Paul Gaultier Is Still In The Game

The king of unconventional designs, Jean Paul Gaultier was remembered throughout the unveiling of Fall Couture 2022, thanks to Olivier Rousteing. The French fashion house known for its eccentric prints and graphics, yet again displayed a collection of grunge menswear shirts and jackets, bustiers, blazers, and gowns, including one made of a woven basket material à la caned furniture and a lot more. What stole the show and made them top the bulletin was cone bras and baby bumps. The idea was to showcase ample diversity on the runway, in color, size, shape, and age. Guess what? It worked, the collections exceeded expectations. As for accessories, 90s sunglasses were styled alongside nose-to-ear chains and plenty of the brand’s signature trompe-l’œil detailing. Our favorite part, the aforementioned Madonna reference, appeared with trompe-l’œil breast detailing both on the runway and the diva, Kim Kardashian. She walked in with her daughter North West and took some serious notes!
There’s More Drama On The Spanish Steps With Valentino

After painting the town Pink last season, this season was even more spectacular by the brand representing “jet-set-chic” from the start. The fall collection titled ‘The Beginning’ just depicts the idea of beauty. As expected by creative director Pierpaolo Piccioli, he has yet again delivered a phenomenal collection by experimenting with color combinations and the modernization of couture. Valentino didn't reveal the collection at Haute Couture in Paris but took the crowd to Rome’s Spanish Steps. The 102 looks displayed opera gloves, long sequined coats in midnight black, and oversized blazers in Kelly green, models wore a mix of flats, stilettos, and kitten heels on the slippery Spanish steps. The magic and the real message of drama, individuality, and Italian cinema are the halo-effect feathered headpieces, for instance, that brought a playful and surreal element. To sum up, easy pants, tank tops, and bodysuits paired with feathered head caps and voluminous flowers perfectly embodied his vision for the modern woman and man.
