The eau de parfum, 24 Faubourg by Hermès, named after the address of the first flagship store of the brand in Paris, is symbolic to the ‘winter sun’. Composed by Maurice Roucel in 1995, this scent of light is an invitation to travel, with the sun as a destination. The classic collection bears witness to the initial encounters between the house of Hermès and fragrance. They tell the story of the living heritage of the brand, its references and secrets. This fragrance is timeless, yet never less than contemporary.
A swathe of flowers including, bergamot, hyacinth, ylang-ylang, jasmine and ornage blossom opens out in the sunlight creating the top and heart notes of the perfume. It is then wrapped in the mystery and sensuality of vanilla and sandalwood, while ambergris sets the tone for the sillage. It balances the richness of the florals with the woody and dry tones of patchouli.
The perfume is packed to perfection in Hermès’ classic design, a curved glass bottle with artistic carvings of leaves and twigs in the front. The rose gold liquid shines through the clear glass and mimics the dramatic hues of the sun at dawn or dusk.
