Gucci Catches The Senseless Fever

Fashion Is A World Bigger Than Many Industries But With Innovations Comes Some Products That Makes No Sense – This is One of Them!

Gucci Catches The Senseless Fever

As fast as technology is spreading its wings in full swing in this era, there is one more industry that is not so far behind – fashion. From your head to toe, you might be covered into a different type of fashion that you might be calling your - type of fashion. Two factors driving this industry towards a better and brighter future are – innovation and practicality. People are seeking useful fashion; the fashion which can make their life easier just like technology does. While everyone is craving logic; some luxury fashion houses have forgotten the meaning of “Practical”, one of which we will tell you about today!

Founded in 1921, this Italian fashion house is all it takes to be called a luxury conglomerate. It got the class, quality, the audience, and most importantly $$$. But as the saying “Danger for danger’s sake is senseless” goes - the brand we are talking about here is Gucci.

Gucci recently collaborated with another fashion conglomerate Adidas to create this “Piece of art”. This piece is known as Adidas x Gucci Sun Umbrella and as you all might have noticed “Umbrella” in the name – it’s an umbrella but there is a catch.

People are seeking useful fashion; the fashion which can make their life easier just like technology does.

Talking of the design, you can see Gucci’s silhouette with the dark green and red coloured straps going all around the body but interestingly you can see the collaboration pretty easily because of the Adidas logos engraved in each bubble-like structure that is looking like a good blend.

For the handle, you can see the prestigious G symbol representing Gucci. The handle is made up of birch wood and the material used for the umbrella panel is cotton. “Please note, this item is not waterproof and is meant for sun protection or decorative use.” This is not us, but Gucci itself.

An umbrella that is not waterproof, do you know how dumb it sounds? What should we use it for then, cleaning our hands? While it gives you protection from the sun, even in a light rainfall – this umbrella drenches like an athlete’s sweat towel.

The rational consumer can go for caps if he/she wants to be protected from the sun. The hassle of carrying a heavy umbrella just to protect you from the sun is not worth it. This umbrella is as useful as a stethoscope is to a car mechanic. Under an immense love for those prestigious Gs, you can still go for this ‘decorative piece’, but we recommend you to stay away from these dumb Gen-Z fashion inventions.
