Fashion has been recognized as one of the biggest industries of this Gen-Z era. Not only trending in this era but clothes and dresses travel all the way when they were a necessity. People used to wear clothes for the mere purpose of hiding their bodies or protecting them from harsh weather conditions. Who knew that this necessity would one day grow this big? Well, one of the most important fashion weeks took place recently. Copenhagen Fashion Week is what we are talking about here. Taking place every year biannually, each season comprises four days where different fashion houses come together as a team to showcase their latest collection. Not much old in terms of age but this surely doesn’t define what this brand has in mind for the future of fashion and what value does it holds. Di(Vision) sound very bilateral when you hear it for the first time. It feels like division and de-vision at the same time.

But having a different meaning altogether, di means two and the meaning of the name sits somewhere around multiplying the brand’s vision over time. Founded in 2018, this brand focuses on Gen-Z cutting edge designs and sustainability.

Talking about the collection itself, we can see a sustainable approach in it. The collection is based on the re-usability of the fabric and keeping it intact so that the life of the fabric increases. Vintage patches and cool designs rock this collection.

Ganni

Founded in 2000 and currently run by the duo of Nicolaj Reffstrup and Ditte Reffstrup, Ganni has been one of the most contemporary and biggest fashion houses in Copenhagen. Ganni never goes without disappointing anybody.
Even when this brand was on Scandi 1.0 it never failed to amuse. But it goes without saying that Scandi 2.0 was the next push it needed to climb up the stairs of success. As far as sustainability goes, Ganni themselves don’t identify as a sustainable brand but they have been quite careful in using the resources.
Talking about the collection, a combination of cool and viable colours rocked the Copenhagen Fashion Week this season. It had a mixture of formal and casual dresses. Some full-length and some half-length, you have to check yourself what was in!
Lovechild 1979
Luxurious fashion is something to keep in mind when talking about Lovechild 1979. Founded in 2009, this brand is feminine but grounded by the masculine. The target audience of this brand is women who have high spirits and love the gist of fashion.
Behind this collection was the mastermind of Creative Director Anne-Dorthe Larsen. She with her team has time and again proven everybody that Luxurious fashion can be contemporary. This collection featured tailored silhouettes, dresses, overcoats, sweaters, boots etc. and everything was flawlessly presented.
