Front Lines

From Dolce & Gabanna and Dior to Anna Sui, runways are going gaga with stylised and XXL eyebrows. And makeup artists like Pat McGrath and Tom Pecheaux are exercising their creativity to support the trend. Natural, gelled, smoked, platinum, golden or geometric eyebrows… The choice is yours to make.
Natural

Thick and sparse like at Valentino and Mary Katranzou’s shows, these are eyebrows in their purest form, with an added gel effect.

Baroque

The eyes are embellished with a smoky, bronzed or metallic effect, just like at designer Maxime Simoens’s Spring/ Summer 2014 runway: Think out-of-the-box and include the eyelid in the overall effect.
Android

Futuristic bleached, platinum eyebrows, as envisioned by designers at Alexander McQueen, Prada and Saint Laurent. Or even pastel, as seen at Balenciaga. Android brows are making all the noise on the face right now.
Gold

The gold eyebrow has become quite the staple at the house of Christian Dior. The overall effect is that of opulence and extreme sophistication.
Graphic

Geometric and surrealisminspired, like at Céline Spring/Summer 2014, the eyebrow takes on a more radical and rebellious avatar.
