What better way to celebrate love than by whipping up a batch of adorable, heart-shaped strawberry-filled cookies with your partner? Whether you’re baking for your soulmate, your situationship, or your single self (because self-love is a vibe), these cookies will guarantee some sweet, edible romance.
Grab your aprons, sprinkle a little flour (and love!) in the air, and get ready to turn your kitchen into a rom-com scene. Just remember, the real secret ingredient is love... and maybe a dash of humor to survive the inevitable flour fights.

Strawberry-Filled Love Cookies Recipe
Ingredients
- 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour (and a pinch for the mess)
- ½ tsp baking powder
- ¼ tsp salt (to keep things balanced, just like your relationship)
- ¾ cup unsalted butter, softened (because nobody likes a cold heart)
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- ½ cup strawberry jam (the star of the show)
- Powdered sugar for dusting (to sweeten the love even more)
- Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line two baking sheets with parchment paper because even cookies need a solid foundation.
In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. It's like preparing your emotional stability before a relationship.
In a larger bowl, beat the butter and sugar until creamy and irresistible—just like you on your best day. Add the egg and vanilla extract, and mix until smooth.
Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients, forming a dough that’s soft, pliable, and ready to commit (finally).
Divide the dough into two parts. Roll each part out on a floured surface to about ¼ inch thickness. Use a heart-shaped cookie cutter to cut out pairs of hearts.
On half of the hearts, use a smaller cutter to create a window in the center. This is where your love (aka strawberry jam) will shine through.
Place the solid hearts on the baking sheet, spread a spoonful of strawberry jam in the center, and gently top with the cut-out hearts. Press the edges lightly to seal your little bundles of love.
Bake for 10-12 minutes or until slightly golden. Let them cool before dusting with powdered sugar for that final romantic touch.
