It would be hard to single out any one film or any one character, as each film has its own set of challenges. Having said that, putting the looks for Dil Dhadakne Do was quite a challenge with its vast cast and the limited prep time. Deciding on a look that would suit each one’s unique personality in the film was an elaborate process. Of all, Priyanka Chopra and Ranveer Singh’s look excited us the most because they both have such strong, off-screen personalities, and we needed to break that, this once. We went with a very high street, fresh and spunky look. Anil Kapoor’s look, on the other hand, stood out for me, the most. It was a tough one, considering he’s worn his trademark hairstyle for so long. To undo that was a challenge in itself. We did actually work for 100 hours to perfect his salt n’ pepper look for the movie.
Which are the cool styles for summer?

At BBLUNT, we always encourage our clients to embrace their natural texture and flirt with shapes that accentuate their unique texture, face shape, bone structure and the one that compliments their lifestyle! We believe that if we give our clients wash and wear hair, that they can recreate at home, they would always have happy hair days. Over the years, hair trends are progressing towards this philosophy of working with natural hair texture and not fighting it; clients are now ditching hot tools and are playing with fringes and hair accessories. The biggest hair trend would be very close to our BBLUNT manifesto of ‘celebrating individuality!’
What styles do you think are classic or ideal for different face cuts?
For a round face structure, a deconstructed pixie which is a dishevelled crop cut, will give your face an oval appearance, since all the volume will be at the top of your head. This is a low-maintenance hairstyle that visually cuts the broadness of the face, making it look narrower. The other one a curly messy bob, a little length will always be softer. Cut in such a way that the curls are enhanced. A great leave-in curl cream is all you need to define this curly look. For a square face structure, a messy A-line bob is all you need to soften the structured face shape. A layered, messy cut, with some length in the front, will create an illusion of a longer face. Another one, is the lob or the long bob that sits heavy on the shoulders, making the haircut long, more angular than the face shape. It softens the jawline and is a great style to sport. A pixie with a disconnected length on top is ideal for oval faces. For those who do not want to commit to a full pixie, side swept bangs of the long textured pixie is a great option too. The diagonal bangs help balance out this long face shape, whereas, the graduated bob is a style that may work well and look great on every face cut. However, an oval face does complete justice to. Keep it classic or edgy and if you are feeling adventurous, be bold and maybe, even just buzz-off one side and flaunt.
