On March 7, Asian & European Fashion Week (AEFW) presented a runway experience reflecting the evolving language of global fashion — where heritage, innovation, and cultural dialogue meet on a single stage. Founded in Paris by creative director Rex Christy Fernando, the platform has quickly positioned itself as a bridge connecting designers from Asia and Europe while encouraging diversity, creativity, and artistic collaboration.
A Global Runway in the Heart of Paris
Set against the timeless elegance of the Ritz Paris Vendôme, the show featured a curated lineup of designers interpreting contemporary luxury through distinct cultural perspectives.
Among the featured houses was House of Vendôme Paris, the couture label founded by Fernando, known for blending Parisian sophistication with global influences. The collection highlighted refined tailoring and modern elegance, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to contemporary couture with an international outlook.
The runway continued with a diverse spectrum of aesthetics. ANNA SOUL presented a poetic couture vision for children, transforming innocence and imagination into delicate handcrafted gowns reminiscent of modern fairytales.
The contemporary label Mily Mia introduced elegant silhouettes designed for the confident modern woman, combining feminine strength with effortless sophistication. Meanwhile, ANASTASIA, founded by designer Anastasia Bakuradze, showcased sculptural couture defined by intricate embellishments and dramatic forms.
Creative producer Albana Çakshiri brought her artistic vision to the runway with AD Stars Haute Couture, celebrating craftsmanship through the philosophy of “Harmony & Class,” where refined textures and meticulous details created a striking expression of luxury.
