Huey was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. At the age of 15, he discovered Muay Thai at Ohana Warrior and quickly gained recognition for his quick and explosive punches. By the age of 19, Huey expanded his skill set to include boxing, competing in two amateur matches and participating in numerous sparring sessions.
With his striking looks and charming personality, Huey caught the attention of casting directors and began his modelling career in Asia. Since then, he has walked the runway for numerous fashion brands, including the renowned designer Chung Thanh Phong. Huey has also appeared in commercials and campaigns for major brands such as Top Golf, Sport Clips, and High Noon Seltzers. In 2019, Huey showcased his talent on Next Top Model Vietnam.
In 2015, Huey discovered his passion for hairstyling while accompanying his sister to a salon. He went on to graduate from the Paul Mitchell School in Little Rock, Arkansas, and quickly built a thriving clientele with his exceptional attention to detail. In 2021, Huey pursued his dreams in Los Angeles, where he worked at some of the most prestigious outlets in the hair industry, including Salon Benjamin, The Men’s Groomer, The House of Aanuko, and Saints. His celebrity clientele includes Frank Grillo and Edward Enninful.
Huey is now based in Los Angeles and continues to pursue his passion for acting and commercials.
