Ralph Lauren expands its watch offerings with Polo Vintage 67, a new collection of manual-wind watches styled to evoke the look of timepieces of the 1920s and 1930s. Their collection features time-only models with distinctive, retro-styled black lacquer numerals, hands, and markers, all set within an equally vintage-styled opaline silvered dial. A handsome boxed sapphire crystal tops the nicely proportioned dial, which also features a sub-seconds display. This new series is more classically designed than the recent Ralph Lauren Polo models with the brand’s Polo Bear or Polo Pony on their dials.
THE TEAM IS ON FOR STREET CAPSULE
Givenchy creative director Matthew M. Williams brings up a fresh take on the modern woman. This time, he’s enlisted two Atlanta-based friends and designers, Rick Owens and Dieter Grams of streetwear brand BSTROY. They are all set for Spring/Summer 2023 season, as the collaboration explores the connections between contemporary art and fashion through sensory graphic designs and signature casual silhouettes. The Givenchy designer has offered a contemporary take on tailoring while also staying true to elevating street-focused silhouettes. Collection pieces are flooded with crewneck varsity jackets, crewneck sweaters, double-headed hoodies, slightly oversized polo shirts and distressed denim are complete with multi-coloured patches and graphic designs.
