After more than 20 years, working as an interior designer in Los Angeles Michelle Rubens exceptional talents have garnered her back-to-back Best of Houzz award four years in a row. Michelle is an interior designer based out of Los Angeles, California. Her artistic career began at an early age with acting, painting, and design. In 2004, Michelle started her award-winning design firm Michelle Ruben Interiors. Her multi-disciplinary studio quickly established itself as a high end commercial and residential design firm, known throughout the city.
Her vision is distinguished by a medley of different styles accented with a Mediterranean influence of comfort and modern refinement.
As an artist, she aims to enrich people’s lives by using her designs to find artistic solutions to creative problems. She draws inspirations from multiple disciplines including fashion photographers like Horst P. Horst and Richard Avedon, as well as classical Baroque-era painter Johannes Vermeer. Michelle has designed interiors, exteriors, products, and furniture.
