One day, she’s captivating the front row at Fashion Week; the next, she’s dissecting economic trends that shape the future of sustainable fashion.

Some people wear fashion; others use it to tell a story. Kristina Dvo?áková belongs to the latter category—except her stories don’t just grace the pages of glossy magazines, they shape conversations on global change. A model with the poise of a runway queen and the mind of a strategist, she moves effortlessly between the worlds of haute couture and high diplomacy. One thing is certain—when Kristina Dvo?áková enters a room, she sparks dialogue, shifts perspectives, and leaves an imprint that lingers long after the last flashbulb fades.

Kristina, welcome to L’OFFICIEL! If you could describe yourself in three words that blend both fashion and diplomacy, what would they be?

Poised. Visionary. Impactful. Each of these words encapsulates how I approach both my work in fashion and my academic pursuits in diplomacy and economics. I believe true elegance lies in depth, and true leadership lies in grace.

Every great journey has a defining moment—what was the spark that led you into both fashion and global affairs?

The spark came early. I was constantly observing different cultures, styles, and political landscapes. I began learning languages at a very young age, which allowed me to connect with people on a deeper level and truly understand the richness of different perspectives. Modeling introduced me to the language of visual storytelling, while diplomacy helped me grasp the forces that shape our world. Eventually, I realized that fashion is not just art… it’s a form of soft power, capable of expressing identity, culture, and even resistance.

If you could have a coffee chat with your younger self before she started this journey, what advice would you give her?

I would tell her: “Don’t shrink yourself for anyone’s comfort. Your complexity is your superpower. Lead with kindness, but never compromise your worth.” And always remember Risk je zisk (nothing ventured, nothing gained). Sometimes, the most extraordinary chapters begin when you dare to leap into the unknown.

You have 30 seconds to pack for a last-minute trip to Paris—what are you bringing?

Black tailored shorts, sheer tights, high leather boots, and a sleek bodysuit or blazer. I’d throw in my favorite lipstick, a delicate pair of statement earrings, rings, and bracelets, and a timeless fragrance that lingers like a memory. With the right perfume and jewelry, you’re never underdressed in Paris.

What’s the best fashion advice you’ve ever received?

“Wear the clothes, don’t let them wear you.” It taught me that true style is never about trends, it’s about presence. When you feel powerful in your skin, your outfit becomes a reflection, not a mask.

Who is your ultimate fashion icon, and what have you learned from their style?

Princess Diana. Timeless, expressive, and unafraid to break norms with grace. She showed that fashion can be diplomatic, symbolic, and deeply personal. Her looks told stories long before she spoke a word.

What’s a business or economic trend in the fashion world that fascinates you right now?

The rise of digital fashion and sustainability-linked investments. The way blockchain, AI, and ESG frameworks are revolutionizing how we produce, consume, and value fashion is both intellectually fascinating and ethically necessary.

If you were to launch your own fashion brand, how would your knowledge of economics shape it?

It would be built on the foundations of ethical labor, supply chain transparency, and circular design. Economics taught me that sustainability is not just a moral decision, it’s a strategic one. Long-term growth comes from resilience and responsibility.

What’s one misconception people have about both fashion and diplomacy?

That they are superficial or performative. In truth, both are languages of influence. A look can make a statement louder than words, and diplomacy can change the course of history without a single headline. Both require emotional intelligence, strategy, and elegance.

Lastly, tell us about your upcoming projects or what’s next for you in both worlds.

I’m focusing on children’s rights and education, they are close to my heart. At the same time, I’m continuing my academic research in international economics while modeling globally. I’m now taking steps toward expanding my modeling career in the United States and worldwide, where I hope to work with top clients and elevate my presence in fashion and beauty. In the long term, I also aspire to collaborate with the United Nations or similar institutions to advocate for global equity. My mission is to use both platforms. Not just to be seen, but to be heard. To inspire, connect, and uplift through both style and substance.

“Those who have a ‘why’ to live can bear with almost any ‘how.’” That quote reminds me to stay anchored in purpose. Whether it’s walking a runway or walking into a negotiation room, the impact begins with intention.
