Hi Rashmi, welcome to L’Officiel India. How do you use fashion as a tool for self-expression and empowerment?

I love to combine colors & unique outfits in my day-to-day wear. Fashion allows me to communicate my style without having to say a word.

What inspired you to pursue a career in modeling, and how has your journey been so far?

I tend to get bored with my 9-5 job. Modeling helps me stay in shape, collaborate with creative mindsets & stay connected to the fashion industry. So far it has been a great journey. I enjoy being in front of the camera and the lights.

If you could collaborate with any designer or brand worldwide, who would it be and why?

Prada because I love their sunglasses.

Is there a particular Indian garment or accessory you love wearing, and how do you style it for a contemporary look?

I love to wear Indian necklaces and earrings. I try to pair traditional Indian jewelry with trendy outfits.

What are five items that every woman should have in her wardrobe?

Little black dress, denim jeans, purse, sunglasses, a pair of nude heels.

Tell us something fun or unexpected about yourself that your fans might not know.

I was the Women’s Aquatics team Captain at St. Stephens College and represented Delhi at several All-India National Swimming Tournaments.

What’s the strangest or most unique outfit you’ve ever worn on the runway?

A Red Sequin Feather embellished gown is the strangest outfit I ever wore.

What does your typical prep routine look like before a big photoshoot?

Rest well and hydrate.

What current fashion trends are you loving, and which ones do you think should make a comeback?

Ultra-high-waist trousers are my current favorite Chokers and belly chains should come back

What message would you like to send to young girls aspiring to be models?

Follow your dreams and never compare yourself to others on social media.
