“Love yourself enough to feel blessed and find your own unique attributes to be a stand out in the crowd.”
Hello gorgeous, we are pleased to have you in our Anniversary edition. Congratulations on becoming Miss Universe 2021, how were you feeling wearing the crown on your head?
I could still remember my face filled with tears as the joy, happiness and excitement hit me that my dream I have dreamt for so long has come true. And now with the crown and the opportunity in front of me I felt super blessed and humbled.
“I think the biggest pressure the youth of today is facing is to believe in themselves. To know that you’re unique and that’s what makes you beautiful.” Your winning answer is going to stay in our hearts forever, like every other young girl you sure had some insecurities, how did you overcome those?
We all have different insecurities which comes with a lot of lessons and transformations once you accept your flaws and embrace them. I did just that quickly and continue to this day. I used my insecurities and all the bullying harassment about my physic and changed it into my strength and emerged like a Phoenix.
“I think I would have been an Indian Administrative Service Officer (IAS) if not an actress.”
Do you have any plans of entering the film industry? Who do you wish to debut with and why?
I’m an actress by profession and have completed two movies which are slated to be released this year. I look forward to continuing my passion of acting not just in the Bollywood space, but in Hollywood. I want to take on roles that empower young women and leave a message of meaning with the viewers. I would absolutely love to debut in Hollywood with a world-renowned Director who has a marvellous vision towards showcasing stories from the real life to the big screen.
If not Miss Universe, what would you be up to right now?
I think I would have been an Indian Administrative Service Officer (IAS). I love my country and it is another wonderful way to bring honour and service to our country.
“Everyone has opinions so you can’t let the negative ones affect your mental peace. Like water, let is roll off your back.”
To be fair, you are in every gentleman’s dream, how can they get your attention or what are qualities you’d look for while choosing a partner?
I’m one of those women who are difficult to understand. But I do enjoy a person with bright personality who is authentic, respectful, witty and spontaneous!
What does the Miss Universe do in her free time, tell us something nobody really knowns about you?
Most of the people don’t know that apart from acting, dancing and reading a good book, I love to sing and cook. I also have a keen interest in Directing.

We’ve seen you rooting for women’s health, young girl education and other issues? What do you do to show support?
I’m honoured to share this great news that was announced during my Homecoming in India last month.
