Here is all you need to know about the latest matte lipstick range from the house of luxury fashion brand-Dior.
Have you heard of the term lipstick feminism? Yes, the one that emerged as a part of the third wave of feminism. It ascertained that the women, besides accepting the traditional forms of feminism such as basic fundamental rights, should also embrace all aspects of feminism including their sexual power. It ensured that women need not to negate their femininity, especially with regards to sexuality, unlike the early feminism champions who used to focus primarily upon the basic women rights and ignored this aspect of femininity. Perhaps this very attribute of feminism gave a cue to the fashion industry and the fashion brands have been coming up with dark and bold shades of lipsticks. Such hues appeal those women who don’t want to settle for less when it comes to carrying or showing off their feminine side.
To add some more boldness and sass to your femininity, the French luxury fashion house, Christian Dior SE, has launched Rouge Dior Forever Liquid matte lipstick range.
To add some more boldness and sass to your femininity, the French luxury fashion house, Christian Dior SE, has launched Rouge Dior Forever Liquid matte lipstick range. These lipsticks are available in eleven shades, comprising of nude, light and bold colours, carefully curated. Of the eleven shades, 999 Forever Dior, 458 Forever Paris and 100 Forever Nude, are my personal favourite. The 999 Forever Dior is the same as the timeless Iconic Dior Red, but, in liquid form. This has intensified its effect and sheen. The 458 Forever Paris is more like a perfect pink and is suitable for all occasions including work, brunches and dinners. The 100 forever Nude is a shade that you would love to let it be on your lips for all day long. The brand claims that the shades have been crafted, keeping in view all kinds of skin tones and styles. The brand also states that the matte lipsticks boast a transfer proof and mask proof formula that makes it more than just a long wear lipstick. Now, that is very important feature, being mask proof in particular, as we have to wear face masks all the time in this pandemic era. Also, It really feels gross when you have those lipstick marks on your face mask or on that coffee mug.
Coming back to other dimensions of the liquid matte, the brand promises for Rouge Dior Forever Liquid, being the first ultra-pigmented and ultra-matte lipsticks. The problem with liquid mattes is that they make your lips extremely dry, showing all the cracks and patches on your lips. But this one here, is slightly different, with a light weight formula which makes your lip feel light and keeps them moist for a longer period of time. However, those who have very dry lips, application of lip balm before applying the shade, is recommended.

The brand promises to have made these lipsticks long-listing, up to 12 hours, without budge or fade, leaving the lips perfectly agile. Nevertheless, it may start getting lighter after a duration of 10 hours (mostly, in case when you eat or drink) but, it seems the lipstick has been made this way on purpose, because even as it starts fading, it leaves a creamy and colourful impact on your lips that does not look like fading away but making the texture of your lips smoother. The applicator deserves a good round of applauds because it has some indentation which enables it to bring out perfect amount of the lipstick in one round therefore you need not to apply a second quoting as it gives full effect in one application. The Rouge Dior Forever Liquid matte lipsticks are available on Diors official website as well as in stores.
