Q- When and how did you decide on starting a career as an Actor?
That was back when I was still in high school. In both television and theatre at the time, there were many well-known actors and actresses. Seeing them dedicate their youth and passion for art has inspired me to pursue my ambition of becoming an actor. And that dream stayed with me until I applied to Hanoi College of Theatre and Cinema and passed the entrance exam. That decision changed my life forever! Looking back, I have no regret for who I have chosen to become.
Q- You graduated from Hanoi College of Theatre and Cinema; did you always plan to get into acting?
Indeed, I did. Becoming an actor was my long-term plan at that time.

Q- You have been a part of many television shows and feature films, how are they different from each other for you?
Each project allows me to experience a character’s life from a different perspective. Within the characters I’ve played, there are feelings of joy, sorrow, enthusiasm, determination, and even cruelty. I’d like to challenge myself every day by experiencing all those emotions in art.
Q- You are a popular name in the Vietnam Film Industry, are you familiar with the Bollywood industry in India?
I’ve seen some successful Bollywood films, such as “Delhi crime” and “The Girl on the Train,” both of which have been quite popular on Netflix. I also really love 3 Idiots, a movie that brought not only joy, yet tears to me. I highly appreciate the borderless creativity and passion of the Indian filmmakers. Imagine that I have an opportunity to participate in a Bollywood movie, I would be very excited and proud. The Indian culture shown in the film is truly unique. For that reason, many Vietnamese audiences have been fascinated by the vibrant colour & culture in Indian films.

“The Royal Bride” was another project in which I had a lot of fun participating. The cast and crew were extremely professional and pleasant to work with. I can’t hide my joy now that I’ve learnt that the film has received a lot of positive feedback outside of the country. To be accepted by international audiences, I’d tell myself every day that I must continue to improve and train harder to be a better version of myself.

I am a huge sports fan. Tennis and soccer are two of my favourite sports. Playing sports gives me energy and refreshment after a long day at work. Q- Any fitness regime that you follow, to maintain a fit body?
I have the same regime as others. I’d like to add more fiber and water to my diet. Fiber helps us to not only feel lighter, yet also increase our energy level. Even though I try to train harder and push myself to a limit, I do believe that we need time to recover from training too. That’s why recovery is an important part of my workout.
Q- Do you have any skincare routine? We Indians often wonder what people from Vietnam do to have such flawless skin.
Moisturizing is, I believe, the most important part of my skincare routine. Aside from cosmetics, I strive to stay hydrated daily. The favourable weather is also the reason why our skin is quite fair and smooth.
Q- Any plans to visit India or to work in the Bollywood industry?
I would love to visit your country. In addition, nothing is greater than taking part in a Bollywood project. I sincerely hope that it will come true one day.
