Requirements
To make a Terrarium garden you require a clean glass container with an opening. Jars, aquariums, goldfish bowl, broad vases, shallow fish dishes work well for this garden. You will also need marbles (big or small, depending on the size of the container), activated charcoal to filter water and prevent fungi, sterilized rich soil, and a plant of your choice. Some of the plants that work best for Terrariums are Ferns, Peperomia, Tillandsia, Dwarf plants, Venus Fly Traps, Pitcher plants, Sundew, to name a few.
Method
First fill the bottom of your Terrarium bowl/ jar with pebbles and small rocks, then add a layer of soil that covers more than half of the container; make sure it has sufficient space for the roots of the plants to go seep in. Now take the plant and place its root inside the soil then add a second layer of soil. Firmly press the soil bed and ensure the plant is packed in nicely. You can select from a large variety of plant options, and voila. You have your personal garden at home!
