One Love Music Festival, Poland

Often known as the biggest indoor reggae festival in Europe, One Love Music Festival in Poland looks far and beyond reggae – there is also drum and bass, trip-hop, electronic, alternative music, hip-hop, roots, dub, dancehall, world music, dubstep, breakbeat, and soul. This year the line-up includes Chase & Status DJ Set & Rage, Morcheeba, Dub Inc, Tabu, Asian Dub Formation, Flirtini, among others.

Bacardi NH7 Weekender, Pune

This annual multi-city music festival in India began in Pune in 2010. It is reckoned as one of the largest music festivals in South Asia. Held between October and December in multiple cities like, Noida, Bangalore, Kolkata, Shillong, among others, the flagship event in Pune is still a major draw amongst music aficionados. The festival is noted for its mix of established and emerging sub-continental artists and international headliners.

Cartagena International Music Festival, Columbia

The Cartagena International Music Festival brings together some of the world’s greatest artists, in the unique and magical setting of Cartagena de Indias, Colombia. All set for its 14th edition in 2020, the festival aims to highlight the main musical elements characterising the transition from the classical style to the early romanticism.

Jai Thep Festival, Thailand

A music and art festival in northern Thailand, Jai Thep showcases three days of live music and DJs, workshops, art, theatre and more inside its magical world in Chiang Mai. Compared to Glastonbury by some, Jai Thep has become popular for its vibrancy and quirkiness, where you can indulge in music, theatre and wellness. What’s more, Jai Thep is eco-friendly and flocked by friendly crowd – you can even visit solo, with your family or friends.

Envision Festival, Costa Rica

The ‘jungle festival’ has completed a decade and continues to grow as a community. Envision takes place at Rancho La Merced located in the southern zone of the Pacific Coast of Costa Rica – a truly magical place where the rain forests and mountains meet the warm ocean. You can choose from a variety of activities apart from music like, yoga, workshops, art, surf lessons and other adventures organised at the event.

Coachella Music & Arts Festival, California

Well, no music festival list is complete without the mention of Coachella. This annual music and arts festival of California is held at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, in the Coachella Valley in the Colorado Desert. Co-founded by Paul Tollett and Rick Van Santen in 1999, the event showcases music artists from multiple genres. It is one of the largest, most famous and profitable music festivals in the United States and the world. Overtime, Coachella has gained popularity amongst Hollywood celebrities who are often spotted at the festival creating the entire fashion and beauty industry abuzz. The ‘Coachella look book’ is legit, we say.
