The first thing we noticed when we met Chef Kim and Chef Park at the Korean Food Festival held at Le Meridien Gurgaon was their politeness (and of course the good skin). We leaned closer to listen to them speak softly about what makes Korean cuisine delectable and healthy. The chefs, who were flown down specially from Seoul to curate authentic Korean food, took us through the buffet laid out at Latest Recipe, telling us how Koreans believe in low fat, low sodium diet. "We have, though, tweaked the receipe only a bit to cater to the Indian palate," Chef Kim said. We sampled the chicken soup, Korean Kimchi (three kinds), Kimchi Seafood Pancake, Spicy Whelk, Spicy Braised Pork Ribs, Bibimbab, glass noodles, finishing up with Shaved Ice Dessert with Red Beans. We loved the steamed fish and glass noodles.
