Asian Food On Wheels

This Pre-Diwali weekend saw glass noodles and bursts of laughter, at the reloaded Asian Hawkers Market.  Back for its fifth season, on what was promised to be an action-packed pre-Diwali weekend at Select Citywalk, Saket, the frenzy wasn’t a let-down. There's never an AHM season without its share of novelties. This year saw  a   host of new restaurants; Enoki ,Imperfecto, making its debut in the pan-Asian space; Kofuku ; Just Wok It ; Mamagoto's brand-new upscale avatar Mr Mamagoto;Popo Lafing; Spectra; Sushi Junction ; W.D. (Whistling Duck) House ; and the famous Yum Yum Cha, which returned to AHM with sizzling stone rice and noodle bowls. A cocktails-centered bar managed by Gurgaon's busiest micro-brewery, Molecule, and a sneak peek into its new franchise, The Drunken Botanist also made  their way to create a truly exciting weekend for one and all.
The fest also featured a daily dragon dance, in addition to live acts by up-and-coming artists and music from the celebrated deejay, Daniel Rajan.

With each season, Asian Hawkers Market keeps their promise of bringing the best of Asian cuisine at one venue in the city, and there is always an element of newness about the Asian Hawkers Market, despite the presence of familiar names.
