After 7 years at Louis Vuitton as Men's Artistic Director, Kim Jones presented his final collection for the house at the Fall Winter'18 show. Known particularly for his menswear designs, the King of Streetwear took everyone by surprise as Naomi Campbell and Kate Moss strut down the runway in twin patent monogrammed coats. The coats were inspired by Marc Jacob's work for Louis Vuitton in the early 2000's as an homage to Marc Jacob, a mentor to Kim. The man behind Louis Vuitton's steady transition from a traditional luxury brand to streetwear couture, Kim Jones also led the brand's most unlikely and memorable collaborations. LV x Supreme is our personal favorite. With 14 unforgettable shows for Louis Vuitton, we sure do hope to see him on the runway soon.
