The 14th marked the grand debut, and behold, the illustrious steps of the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès were graced by the glitterati of the movie realm, flaunting haute couture from the most esteemed fashion realms. And lo and behold, yesterday, Bella Hadid, once a supermodel (ouch, it stings), walked down the Cannes red carpet for “The Apprentice” screening, clad in a sheer Saint Laurent masterpiece, that had jaws dropping faster than popcorn in a movie theatre!
The 77th Cannes Film Festival’s movie lineup left us absolutely amazed! It kicked off with a bang featuring “Emilia Perez” starring Selena Gomez and Zoe Saldana, followed by Yorgos Lanthimos’s “Kinds of Kindness” with Emma Stone, Hunter Schafer, and Margaret Qualley. We also saw Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal’s debut production “Girls Will Be Girls,” the intriguing “Oh Canada,” a new gem from Paul Schrader, and guess what L’Officiel was honoured to have bumped into Richard Gere, the captivating “Limonov – The Ballad” by Kirill Serebrennikov, and “Parthenope” by Paolo Sorrentino.
