Hold tight fashion connoisseurs, L’Officiel is about to spill the beans fresh from the runway of Moscow Fashion Week. Those 8 days were a whirlwind of style, packed with excitement and oodles of fashion inspiration!
On the 5th of March, the scene was set at Capo for a fabulous gathering of delegates ready to mix, mingle, and chat about all things sparkling and stylish! Even the Bolshoi Theatre couldn’t contain its excitement, eagerly anticipating the fashion frenzy about to unfold in Moscow! Jumping into March, Central Exhibition Hall ‘Manege’ was fully booked for a dazzling 8-day spree to host all the glitz and glam, marking the kickoff of Moscow Fashion Week!
Moscow has become the buzzing hub where dreams of budding designers take flight! With local labels riding the wave of 10-15% annual growth, Russia’s fashion scene is the place to be. And guess what? It’s not just for the locals anymore! International brands are flocking in to showcase their chic style and forge global connections. Moscow Fashion Week has blossomed into a vibrant hub of creativity and cultural fusion, spotlighting a dazzling array of designers from every corner of the map. Fashion from Russia, Brazil, Indonesia, China, India, Turkey, South Africa, Costa Rica, Ethiopia, Tunisia, and Egypt all converged in one electrifying event.
But wait, there’s more! Beyond the catwalk, the event boasts a professional showroom attracting hoards of boutique owners, a jam-packed schedule of lectures and masterclasses, and even a film festival celebrating fashion on the big screen. For all the fashion aficionados out there, attending the showcase was an absolute blast—trying on clothes, feeling the fabrics, and getting hands-on with the latest trends was an adventure in itself!
When it comes to Russian fashion, we were treated to a delightful parade of designers flaunting their fabulous creations. Among the standout Russian brands are Julia Dalakian, Vestiaire, MaisonESVE, Gerda Irène, Sashina Designer Label, Kisselenko, XakaMa, and more.
But let’s talk about MaisonESVE, because their latest collection, “The New Icon,” stole our hearts. Naike Rivelli, daughter of the fabulous Ornella Muti, graced the stage, with Ornella herself cheering from the front row like the proud mom she is. The first part of the collection wowed us with a sumptuous array of caramel tones, featuring lacey ensembles, batwing blouses, and mini dresses adorned with oversized blooms. The second part, shining with metallic brilliance and 1980s-inspired boldness. From flashy catsuits to striking outfits, MaisonESVE left us in awe!
