1. DIOR

1. DIOR

In anticipation of the winter holiday season and its precious moments of sharing, Dior Maison unveiled a new collection echoing the Dior Cruise 2024 runway show presented in Mexico. The soulful place, as described by Maria Grazia Chiuri, has inspired many artists, guiding the spirit of the exclusive line. Infinitely poetic, the Butterfly Around the World motif, imagined by Pietro Ruffo, combined with a reinterpretation of the Toile de Jouy, adorning an array of exceptional creations.

As a final surprise, a vase and a decorative box, created in collaboration with the Manufacture des Émaux de Longwy, founded in 1798, completed this selection. Symbols of exceptional craftsmanship, the numbered pieces, can be discovered in a series of Dior boutiques. All in all, the creation is an invitation to celebrate the magic of dreams and the hush of winter.

2. FENDI

Matching the irresistible charm of FENDI, the brand has designed the Matrice bookcase. It features shelves and vertical panels in painted or dope-dyed crystal with bronze or smoked glass that give shape, character, and striking silhouette to this piece. This new collection has further enriched the Fendi Casa Miami boutique with multifaceted pieces inspired by a passion for raw materials and skilled craftsmanship. The clean lines of the Matrice bookcase are created by a painted steel structure of squared tubes. Whereas, the shelves and vertical panels in painted or dope-dyed crystal with bronze or smoked glass give shape and character to this striking freestanding modular bookcase. Moreover, its chromatic simplicity and visual lightness are sure to make a statement.

3. VERSACE

From bed and bathroom linen, table services, to living room, and lifestyle— Versace’s home collection offers to truly transform your home into an Italian palace paying homage to the Greek mythological character Medusa. From bed sets to wallpaper, as well as bathrobes, plates, and candles, the full art de vivre line from Versace fashions a veritable Ali Baba cave adapted to a more Italian lifestyle.

4. YVES SAINT LAURENT

Yves Saint Laurent had an innate talent for designing head-turning couture and ready-to-wear garments and accessories, he and his partner, Pierre Bergé, shared a mutual talent for collecting and decorating homes—all stunningly exotic and appropriately filled with unique rarities to match. The couple’s trove of home furnishings—it’s easy to see that the two seasoned collectors were open-minded and did not subscribe to a single era or style, they have many coveted examples of Berber and Islamic art that inspired YSL’s designs.

5. GUCCI

Maximalists, pay attention: a temporary Gucci Décor store, dedicated solely to the Italian fashion house’s line of furniture and interiors, in Milan – a veritable treasure trove, showcasing the baroque codes. It was something Alessandro Michele brought to Gucci when he took the helm as creative director in 2015. Befitting Michele’s eye for the ‘OTT’, Gucci Décor launched two years later; a range of homewares designed to bring the eclectic, romantic aesthetic of the house to life in a to creatively dress.

This is certainly reflected in this temporary store, which has been stocked from floorto-ceiling with a wealth of porcelain oddities, including a stand-out silk armchair and chintzy fringed lampshades (some restored antiques and some from the Décor collection itself). Therefore, the line brings to life the eclectic, romantic, playful, colourful, pattern and floral-driven ethos of the house. It channels these elements into nouveau-retro pieces and decorative items created under the hands of the finest Italian craftspeople.

6. DOLCE & GABBANA

The brand has established a very large collection with hundreds of pieces from tables to armchairs, from mosaics and ceramics to plates, from bar furniture to trolleys, down to aprons and kitchen bandanas and chandeliers, created by artisans from all over Italy. The label is inspired by one of the four themes: Carretto, taken from the typical decorations of the humble but precious work vehicle of the island.

Dolce & Gabbana Casa ensured to represent foundational values: impeccable craftsmanship, love for the ‘Fatto a Mano’, respect for tradition, and the quest for innovation. Thus, the label demonstrates in a bedroom, how the Italian beauty is not just limited to the genius of the great masters of the Renaissance and Baroque or the immortal words of great poets and writers, but extends to their breathtaking creations.

Nothing can ever beat the nostalgia of a beach memory from childhood, the ocean wetting your toes as you sway a bucket and pail along the sand. Nostalgic, right? But there’s something about swinging around a bucket bag in your adulthood that vaguely awakens that childlike joy. The bag’s shape feels like an invite to just toss trinkets into its depths, welcoming you to carry a collection of things you want instead of things you need. And it’s hard not to feel the need to impulse-buy luxe bucket bags crafted with elegance. TORY BURCH, T Monogram Denim Bucket Bag, approx. Rs. 38,990
