The Chronomat Automatic GMT 40 is Breitling’s tribute to travel, not only for its dual time zone display but also because of its easy going aesthetics. With subtle dial colours, combined with an all-steel case and bracelet, to make it work with any wardrobe. Meanwhile, the tone-on-tone 24-hour scale lets the red GMT hand speak for itself. The Breitling Caliber 32 powers the GMT complication by boasting a 24-hour scale that lets the user track a second-time zone and know at a glance whether it’s day or night.

The Chronomat GMT 40 is infinitely more wearable—not just because of the smaller and slimmer 11.77mm case, or its 200m
water-resistance, but also because the bezel has a slimmer, cleaner look. Additionally, the Chronomat’s signature steel rouleaux (or ‘roller-style’) bracelet fits comfortable around any wrist. Known as “a watch for every pursuit”, the Chronomat mission is truer now than ever because of the GMT 40’s practical size and understated style. The brand aimed to design in a way that appears sturdy enough for the gym, yet smart enough for black tie.

The ceramic-cased Pilot’s Watch Chronograph 41 Top Gun Oceana has the unique intrigue of a blue ceramic case, that’s something we don’t see too often. Oversized, simple case designs and flat legible dials are what make pilot’s watches unique. A blue ceramic case would just about do it, and given IWC’s expertise in the field, it’s no surprise they’ve introduced yet another shade to their Colours of Top Gun collection. When compared to the black ceramic variant, however, the Oceana comes in at a significant premium, surely due to the complexity of producing a coloured ceramic case.

It’s worth recalling how IWC were pioneers in the use of ceramic, which they’ve now been extending into more monochromatic hues and various sizes. On the flip-side, there is a solid titanium screw-on case back engraved with the “Top Gun” logo. It comes equipped with two inverted push-pieces to operate the chronograph and stop-watch features; with a setting-crown in-between them, all crafted out of steel. Plus, it claims a soft-iron inner case for protection against magnetic fields.

For the latest release, TAG Heuer partners with both Team Ikuzawa and renowned watch customizer Bamford Watch Department to capture the clean, graphic, and indelibly Japanese style of Team Ikuzawa in a modern racing chronograph. This new limited-edition brings a stark Asian streetwear flair to the Carrera platform, with one of the most focused and pared- back aesthetics in the current TAG Heuer catalogue. The new TAG Heuer Carrera made with Bamford is a traditional Carrera chronograph measuring 42mm by 14.3mm thick, powered by the Heuer Calibre 02 Movement.

The watch has 100m of water resistance and comes on a stainless-steel bracelet. It also has an included fabric strap with red marking “Team Ikuzawa” printed and velcro closure. But the real star here is the red and white dial, playing off the Team Ikuzawa colourway. More specifically the dial is “white opaline” and features a flange with a red 60-second/minute scale. TAG
Heuer does work to differentiate this model from the standard production Carrera Chronograph with its sapphire display case
back, which features a limited-edition serial number, along with logos for both Team Ikuzawa and Bamford Watch Department, along with a reasonably athletic 100 meters of water resistance.

The Nomos Club Sport Neomatik 39 is a versatile and elegant sports watch that combines the minimalist style and Bauhaus sensibility of the brand with a robust and water-resistant case. It features a thin and smooth stainless-steel case with long, sweeping lugs and a sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating. And, talking about the new colour ‘Smoke’ is everything warm and nuanced, with a dynamic sunburst finish that makes the watch shimmer in golden tones which complements the
stainless-steel bracelet well.

The colour of this galvanized and sunburst polished dial has a rich palette of gold and platinum, copper and bronze: ember, a hue of maturity and success. It adds lustre without overbearing in a robust stainless-steel case with a polished and satin-finish stainless steel bracelet, Club Sport neomatik 39 smoke is water-resistant to 20 atm and, at the same time, it’s unusually slim with a height of just 8.5 millimetres. So, let the smoky light grey tone glow richly over your wrists.
