Exclusive Interview With Emily Ford – The Supreme Intact of Beauty and Brain

Her aura is infectious. She is filled with passion and positivity.

Hi Emily. We’d like to offer a very warm welcome to you! To begin with, for those who are still figuring out who you are, tell us about your background.

I started my entrepreneurial journey 13 years ago with no business background to now running and sustaining a 9-figure sales organization as well as speaking to companies and teams globally. I run a health and wellness company, I now teach people globally how to brand themselves and coach them through my mentorship program called ITfactor. I grew up in a small town in Minnesota and that helped to build my humble heart. I bring that to all areas of my life like speaking on a LIVE stage in front of 10,000 people next to Tony Robbins, to train corporate sales and leadership teams on “Leaders Who Have IT.” My transformative method has allowed over 1 million people to not just find their ITfactor, but also implement it into their personal lives to achieve massive influence in their careers and business.

“The thing about me is that I am major in resting and recharging – I’m all about working with intuition.”

What was the one thing that inspired you the most to become an entrepreneur?

The thing that inspired me to be an entrepreneur was the idea of living my life by design and not by default. I was tired of having my life be dictated by restrictions on how long I was working. When I was working, I also had the level of financial success I was able to achieve. I felt creatively stagnant and not in a purpose-driven state, which inspired me to go deeper into my strengths and passions. When you really understand your strengths and you lean into them, I call that your ‘zone of genius’. When you’re operating in your zone of genius, you have more in your personal life and financial growth.

“My goal with my style is that I like to shop and pair high to low.”

It is said that the best view comes after the hardest climb. What obstacles did you overcome as you pursued a profession that helped you become even more resilient?

My career started in sales, where I heard “no” more times than I would hear “yes”.  I had to learn many skills in selling which included my communication style, pitching, and how to meet the needs of the client. Even though I was made fun of, for my goals, my vision, and my life – I kept pursuing the path that I had envisioned for myself. I would say I’m resilient because I am patient and I understand good things take time. I have a great relationship with dedication and discipline, which takes conditioning to be resilient. For me, it’s never just about today and it’s always about the future. You don’t build a business in a day, and I’m here for the infinite game. Resilience and consistency have been foundational pieces to my success.

With her alluring looks, she is all set to take the world by storm.

What has the journey been like sharing a stage with some of the biggest business names?

I always say that if you cannot serve in a small space, God will never put you on the big stage. I would give the same amount of energy and passion to a crowd of 2 people that I give to speaking to 10,000 people. I really believe what you do in the dark, shows up in the light. Because I was so hyper-focused on serving my audience, over time, I got to share the stage with some of the biggest thought leaders in the world. The fastest way to learn about yourself, and to truly discover who you are, is through serving others which has always been anchored in all that I do.

She is here to support you, encourage you, and guide you through the hardships of life.

How would you describe yourself in one sentence?

I would describe myself as your big sister on a mission to serve others and help them find their true calling to follow their purpose/meaning in their life.

Apart from her strong identity as a public speaker, her jaw-dropping looks are another reason you can’t take your eyes off of her.

Other than being a businesswoman, you are also a global influencer. Tell us about the one thing that interests you the most other than your business.

One thing that has always interested me is style. I believe your style communicates a message to the world and great style is great art. I’ve always been into self-expression, which is communicated through clothing, scent, art and music. I really do love supporting other artists, which is why I collaborated with some amazing up-and-coming small brands on my Instagram. I am really thrilled to share some new products I’ll be releasing this Fall.

She is beautiful, full of confidence, and has a brilliant sense of style.

You have an unquestionable sense of style and poise when it comes to fashion. Tell us about some of your favourite brands.

Thank you! My goal with my style is that I like to shop and pair high to low. I like to shop some everyday basics and pair them with luxury and vintage designer pieces. It’s hard to narrow down one brand as I always dress with my intention and how I’m feeling.

“I grew up in a small town in Minnesota and that helped to build my humble heart.”

While balancing all of your roles like a pro, you still manage to look so radiant. What’s your secret mantra behind your glowing skin?

I believe in having great skincare but truly working it from the inside out, which is ingesting marine-based collagen. I use a clinical dose of collagen every day. I also use gua-sha, face oil and wear visors/SPF daily. I also love getting a facial.

Share some of the hobbies that you enjoy the most when you get some time off from work.

The thing about me is that I am major in resting and recharging – I’m all about working with intuition. My favourite hobbies outside of work are always vintage shopping, seeing a play or concert, pool day with friends and fancy date nights with my partner Jake.

“When you really understand your strengths and you lean into them, I call that your ‘zone of genius’.”

Our readers were looking forward to having you on board. What is the message you would like to share with our lovely readers and people who aspire to be like you?

I’ve spent the last 13 years learning how to love and accept myself, which includes the past experiences of my life that have caused me pain and shame, which has led me to heal, which has led me to peace and understanding. I’ve also learned truly what my strengths are and ultimately my “ITfactor” that makes me unique and I have baked that into my personal brand and everything I do. My recommendation is that you go to work on finding your passion and strengths which is your ITfactor. Life is too short to spend time and energy trying to be the girl on Instagram. I encourage you today to go deeper and find your passion and ITfactor, and when you do, I promise it’s going to transform everything in your life, personally and professionally, as it did for me.
