Milan Fashion Week: The Best Spring 2023 RTW Collections

MFW

September Is A Bliss With All The Ultimate Fashion Weeks. The On-Going Milan Fashion Week Is What We Have Our Eyes Set On At The Moment. Let’s Have A Look At The Astonishing Collections Presented By An Array Of Luxury Brands! These Are Officially Our Favorite From The Bunch! P.S: Don’t Worry We Have More Coming!

Versace Spring Summer 2023

Just one word: Goddess, both the collection and Donatella. Versace unveiled its Spring Summer 2023 at the Milan Runway and though there were many applaudable moments, the one that’s our favorite and made us nostalgic was Paris Hilton walking the runway, closing the show in barbie-pink bridal lace and a dazzling veil. Speaking of the collection, it was deemed to perfection. All pieces were very seductive, and daring and had a “Dark Gothic Goddess” vibe. The color palette started from black, and purple and later it shifted to shades of Fuschia. Cut-out dresses, tops, biker jackets, leather pants, shaggy, fur-like coats and miniskirts and so much more portrayed the woman as being confident, smart, and a little bit of a diva. Versace nailed it. Not just with the fashion, but the top models that walked the ramp; Bella, Gigi, and Emily wearing phenomenal dresses is also a top highlight. All 56 looks deserve the hype they are receiving. Accessories were given equal attention, like the La Medusa line in contemporary color stunned the front row. Overall, Versace’s Spring Summer 2022 is a hit!

Moschino Spring Summer 2023

Jeremy Scott was in charge, what made you think the collection wouldn’t be out-of-the-box? Moschino had some twisted yet tremendous ideas while presenting the Spring 2023 collection. Scott divided the collection into 2 categories; it started with business-ready looks, romantic gowns with 2-D cartoon drawings, and later shifted completely to poolside fun, bathing suits for your next vacay to the Maldives. Just like the collection, the feelings are kind of a mix. We are truly attracted to the playful, and joyous color scheme. It stands out as the best just like the brand has equipped the title of unconventional. A total of 63 looks were unveiled; cut-outs were again spotted tremendously with suits, mini dresses, and gowns. There were also puff-sleeved capes and tiered maxi dresses. As for the additional accessories, full attention was on the animal- and donut-shaped floaties, heart-shaped hats, long latex opera gloves, and more. The highlight was the most gorgeous man sitting in the front row, Michaele Morrone. Overall, the collection and show set the mood right!

Missoni Spring Summer 2023

We weren’t ready for this by the new creative director at Missoni, Filippo Grazioli. He changed the game in his own eccentric way but took inspiration from the archives on how to make the brand’s fine knitwear relevant for a new generation. One thing that didn’t go unnoticed was how the models walked the ramp bra-less indicating the collection enhanced the individual components to obtain an original harmony in the whole. From mini skirts with deep V-necks paired with body suits and sheer dresses to zig-zag culotte panties; the collection had it all. The memo was not limited to knitwear, similar to the brand’s archives, but also featured sequin-sprinkled ballet skirts and long sheer dresses. The front row was filled with A-listers admiring the collection throughout. performer Paris Jackson, US actor Madison Bailey, model, social media influencer Maddie White, and Brazilian model Alessandra Ambrosio were all spotted having a good time at the show. Overall the motive of the collection that “leads to tangible, sensual, joyful physicality enhanced through sophisticated transparencies, necklines, and slits” was successfully represented.
