Setting Spray Is the Real Deal, and Choosing the One That Does the Job Apart from Looking All Plush Is the Key! Is COOLA Makeup Setting Spray Making It into The Vanity?

Known for giving the world some healthy and applauded sunscreens, COOLA is a 99% natural skincare and makeup brand. Launched in 2007, is headquartered in Carlsbad and thriving ever since. Apart from sunscreens being their bestsellers, they also have produced BB Creams, Primers, Moisturizers, Setting Sprays & more. One of their products caught our eye for being a requisite, but something looked fishy so we knew there’s more to it. Without speaking any further ado let’s dive in and discuss all about COOLA Makeup Setting Spray with SPF 30.

First things first, setting sprays are basically used to lock your makeup for the night. These products are made to preserve every layer for a longer period of time. We’ve always been a fan of mists, and recommend spraying some setting mist on the blender as well. Now as for COOLA SPF 30 makeup setting spray, it offers UV protection, reduces shine, and keeps makeup looking fresh all day.

The quality is fine, and trying the product won’t be such a bad thing if you’re a makeup lover.

As for the performance of this product, it works fine. All skin types can use this product as it doesn’t cause a burning sensation on the face and makes sure to leave the face fresh instead of looking greasy or too shiny. However, the smell of it will terrify some people. It smells a lot like nail polish or other nail products and is too strong. Another drawback we observed was how mascara can only be applied after spraying the product on the face, otherwise, it gets a little fuzzy and sticks on lashes, which is not good. We’re proud of the sunscreen factor in this makeup product, but it has to be reasonable as well.

The packaging of this particular product is terrible. The bottle leaks heavily, and nothing you do will fix it.

Coming to the point which devastates us, the quality is fine, and trying the product won’t be such a bad thing if you’re a makeup lover. But the packaging of this particular product is terrible. The bottle leaks heavily, and nothing you do will fix it. It will simply ruin your vanity and leave a purplish stain. I mean, trying the product will only be possible if something is left. The nozzle gets clogged and usually, after one use, the bottle reduces to half as it drips excessively. For us it’s a no-no as anyone would barely be able to utilize the product a second time.
