Do You Want to Feel Nature to its Deepest Core? Well, We Might’ve Found the Perfect Spot for You!

This year of 2021 has also been a rollercoaster ride for us all. Witnessing the second wave of Covid-19 and seeing chaos all around was something that we all got used to in the second and first quarters of this year.

One of the sectors that were mostly affected by this ride, is the travelling sector. Travelling is a tranquil passion that yields peace and harmony out of the mind, but witnessing such dismaying incidents, everyone was scared for their life. Nobody was willing to step out of their house until necessary.

To our surprise, the third and fourth quarters eased up a bit. People started going with their prosaic day-to-day lifestyle; but just to remind you, the pandemic isn’t over yet, so for you to be safe and travel to your fullest at the same time, we have bought a place for you.

A place that defines the perfection of everybody’s itinerary, but is visited by fewer. Take a look because it may be your dream place!

Hidden in the deep abyss of the western ghats of Karnataka, Coorg is one of the places you always dream f and never get a chance to visit. Talking about this natural bliss, when the Britishers were ruling India and came to Coorg for the first time, they named it The Scotland of India.

This place is geographically located in the middle of natures wing; where trees are talking over the ground and greenery is all you can see. Especially in the month of December, when the winters are dawning upon the blue skies, this place looks like total heaven. Let’s see what all things you can explore if you drop round to see this beauty.

This Highest Mountain Peak

Do you love mountains? Well, Himachal and Uttarakhand are not the only hill stations that India has, but the region of South India that is most popular for its sandy beaches and coconut trees also has some of the most aesthetically appealing peaks of the world.

Coorg is not behind when it comes to high mountain peaks. Tadiandamol Mountain peak is the highest peak of the district from which you can see an ostentatious view with coconut water in your hands.

A small 3kms trek is needed to see what this highest peak is encapsulating behind that nature’s wall. According to us, the sunsets and the sunrise is the best time to visit this place as Rayleighs scattering makes the green looks orange.

You must carry your camera throughout this journey as a 360 view from the peak might turn into a photographer. But if you are a mountain lover and love natural views, this peak is meant for you.

As Iruppu Falls, you may Fall too

Some people love waterfalls and if you are the one, you definitely are in luck. With Iruppu Falls on board, Coorg becomes more pristine. This waterfall is situated in between the Brahmagiri Forest Reserve which makes the surroundings even prettier.

The most eminent reason for visiting this waterfall is its secluded and nature-friendly location. While covered in green, the path for this waterfall is covered in concrete followed by small trails. If you go a little bit higher, you might even get the chance to get in contact with the cold shower but we recommend you not to indulge in that as cold weather may lead to extremely cold water.

The water flow is also pretty good, but it majorly depends on the rainfall that the area gets and is subjective to each year. Although, the water is quite clean and some people also tend to drink it.

Getting Hand-in-Hand with Elephants

Who doesn’t love elephants? I mean, sure they are huge and you seem like an ant in front of them but have you ever looked at an elephant? Surely, you’ll fall for it too. Nature is quite incomplete without the indulgence of wild animals.

Coorg is quite famous for its elephants. Dubare Elephant Camps are the place in which you’ll find animals taking baths and enjoying their time. You can also play with them as they are well trained and not aggressive at all.

Some activities like Feeding, Riding, and Bathing are there for you to enjoy. Unlike other sanctuaries or zoos where animals and chained and abused, these elephants look quite cheerful and energetic. You can get this blissful sight if you visit this campsite!
