You have been involved in creating videos for Instagram, Tik-Tok and Youtube for quite some time now and your millions of followers are extraordinary proof. Tell us how you started creating content for social media and other platforms?
I grew up in Oregon and my family moved to Los Angeles for my mother’s job when I went away for college. So, when I came back from breaks and holidays, I had no friends in LA except my parents and my animals. Then I met King Bach, Destorm Power, and Liane V at a gym. They were my first friends in LA and also introduced me to creating on the internet.

Not many people know this, but you hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry and another in Biological sciences. Would you like to tell us more about that?
Growing up, a social media creator was a profession that didn’t exist yet. Science has always come very easy to me, so I wanted to become a doctor. I loved anatomy class, so I always wanted to become a surgeon of some sort. It wasn’t until after I graduated with a pre-med degree that I realized I wanted to take a risk and start a social media career.
You’ve been on the ramp and the red carpet looking nothing but stunning. Did you always want to be a part of the Fashion and modelling industry and how did your journey begin?
It definitely wasn’t always a part of my journey, but when I started creating, I realized that fashion was another way to express myself.

Why did you choose comedy as a prominent genre for your initial videos? What other genres do you wish to try in the future?
I actually used to make comedy sketches with my sister off of our parent’s camcorder when I was in elementary school. It’s something I’ve done since I was a little kid and genuinely love to do. I love to make people laugh and I love a positive environment. I also think the world is filled with so much negativity- trying to make people laugh is what I try to contribute to the world we live in. I would love to dive into a more dramatic acting role in the future. I think there are a lot of beautiful deep relatable and dramatic stories to tell and I would love to help showcase that.
You’ve been a part of various movies and TV Shows as well. How was your experience?
Each experience has been incredible so far. It’s definitely a lot different from YouTube sketches. There’s always a lot of anxiety going into a new set because you never know exactly what you’re going to walk into. It comes with a lot of preparation.

We know you are interested in Tattoos and making them. What’s the story behind that? How many tattoos do you have right now?
When the lockdown first happened, I was still living at my parent’s house. A friend of mine posted how he bought a super cheap tattoo gun off the internet and started giving himself crappy tattoos. I thought that was so stupid, let me do that same thing! Haha and then it evolved into me tattooing my best friends and now I have an IGTV series around it. Plus, a waitlist of 80 people wanting tattoos from me. I have about 18 tattoos and 99% of them are on my feet.
What do you think is the most common problem faced by social media content creators around the world?
I think the ability to evolve and stay consistent is extremely tough. The more you put into your work the more you get in return as a social media creator. It’s hard to take breaks especially if you have momentum, but burnout is a big problem. With that being said, days off and you time is extremely important!

Which one of your videos is your favourite right now?
Currently, it’s the video where I dressed up as Squidward and went to a rave. It was such a last-minute idea and overall, a really random experience. The reaction I got from my friends and fans after they saw me do that was priceless.
Hannah, you have such a beautiful face in all your videos and movies. How do you maintain it? Would you like to share some of your beauty secrets with us?
I’m a minimalist! I use a tinted moisturizer instead of foundation. I use regular unscented soap instead of regular face wash, and after I’m done washing my face, I lather my face with grapeseed oil.
